Privacy Policy
Last updated: January 1, 2024
Summary: DirectLink P2P does not store, log, or share your calls, identity, or any personal data. Calls are peer-to-peer and leave no trace on our infrastructure.
1. Introduction
DirectLink P2P ("we," "our," or "us") is built with a privacy-first design. This Privacy Policy explains our minimal data practices for our Android application available on Google Play.
2. What We Do NOT Collect
DirectLink P2P is designed to collect as little as possible. We do not collect:
- Your real name, email address, or phone number
- Call recordings or call content
- Call logs or call history
- Your IP address linked to your identity
- SIM or carrier information
- Any account credentials (there is no account)
3. How Calls Work
Calls in DirectLink P2P are designed to connect directly between devices (peer-to-peer). Your conversation does not pass through or get stored on our servers. When a call ends, no record of it remains in our infrastructure.
4. Generated Numbers & Keys
The private numbers and secure keys used in the app are generated locally or via a minimal session-based system. They are not linked to your real identity and are not stored permanently on our end.
5. Anonymous-Friendly Design
No login, no email, and no SIM card are required to use the app. This design is intentional — we believe you should be able to communicate privately without handing over personal information first.
6. Third-Party Services
We may use minimal third-party services for crash reporting (anonymous) and app distribution via Google Play. Google Play's privacy policy applies to the distribution process.
7. Children's Privacy
DirectLink P2P is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
8. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
